Hello there Room 9 and Whaea Josie!
Thank you for your messages...we are loving receiving messages from other classes and teachers. We are very new to Quadblogging especially to writing to other children. Our children started writing to ePals from Tasmania in week 1 of this term. We are looking forward to sharing lots of ideas and to getting more wonderful messages from your class. Have a wonderful week Whaea Josie and Room 9!

I'm glad I've had time to have a look round your site, it definitely has lots more to get used to than a straight blog hash.
I loved the geonet messages what a cool idea. What did you use to create the book of photos? I loved that it made page turning noises. I'd love to do this with Room 9.

Hi there again Whaea Josie. I used 'flipsnack' for the book and I can't remember how I found it. If you click on the 'ICTmagic' button at the bottom of our Home-Page menu column, it takes you to a cool wikispace site where the owner has found many educational sites for literacy and so on. Otherwise I think I may have tried the 'cooltoolsforwikis' on this link:

http://cooltoolsforschools.wikispaces.com/

or I might have tried 'gettingtrickywithwikis' on this link:

http://gettingtrickywithwikis.wikispaces.com/

...otherwise I can't remember where I found it! Hope that helps.

Have a great week!

The cup song looked really hard, it must take lots of confidence to do that. By Natahlia

Hi there Room 9 Rockets! I will answer Cindy's question and hopefully this week, some of Room 7 will have left comments for Natahlia and Sophia. A message was displayed on Google one day so I thought I would have a little 'peep' because I am a little nosy!

If you Google geogreeting.com or click on this link:

http://www.geogreeting.com/main.html

you will go to their main page (but show your teacher first please!).

Next, you have to click on 'Send a GeoGreeting!' next to the envelope picture above the map box. You will go to a new page where you can follow the instructions and then 'hey presto' you have a message...it doesn't have to be a greeting. If you go back to our 'Home Page' in our wikispace...I have left your class a message! Have a wonderful week Cindy and Room 9 Rockets!

I like the leadership song too because we are learning it and we have it to show the whole school one day in an assembly.

We are learning about good work habits. We are slowly learning about the Habits of Mind but Whaea Lesa found this leadership song to help.

My favourite subject is playing at lunch time. I love to skip with the skipping rope and sometimes I play soccer at lunch time. My favourite subject in class is reading and I am good at reading. By Sophie.
